DANCES THIS WEEK:
This week, we have a new dance
out by Dee Musk ( Little Red Book) and it's another one that goes to an
old pop song. Beginners will be learning
"JUST
ONE LOOK"
. We will practice singing & dancing at the same time :)
Last week Jamie Wylie
guest instructed at out Tues intermediate, and we learned (for the most
part) "POKER FACE".
It took the whole hour, but we did get through it. This week no new
intermediate dance, we need to put some spit & polish on it!

NEWS & UPCOMING EVENT
I have some very exciting news to
share with everyone! Last week I was contacted by Mr. Jimmy Flynn,
who is a composer, songwriter, of patriotic music. He has traveled
around our country, attending functions that honor our servicemen and
vets. He has choreographed a line dance called "THE USA" done to
one of his songs. I am helping him with one of his projects, which
is to video this line dance. Arrangements are being made to do
this out at Mustang Salliz the end of July ( date to be announced) I
would like to invite all of you to partake in this. It is a VERY
EASY dance, and I'll start to go over it in each class. Jimmy
would like a true "melting pot" to be in this video, looking for all
nationalities, young, old, and service men to please take part!

PATRIOTIC SOCIAL: Don't forget,
our next social is coming up Friday July
17'th at the N. Olmsted Community cabin. Our theme this time is
patriotic, and how fitting with the upcoming video shoot.
While most of us were happy to wear a
flowered shirt & lei to our Luau line dance party, some of our
guests went all out ( see below) what a great time and GREAT
crowd, there were 54
of you! Thanks, and mark your calendars for
our next social, Friday July 17'th!

Our total for the domestic violence fundraiser continues to grow
higher even thought the dancing is over! Thanks to those of you
who were unable to attend, but have sent me a check.......who knows how
high our final total will be?

Here they are, the Westlake All Stars!
Pictured here is one of my new
classes that I am doing for employees through the Strategic Capital
Advisors/Medical Mutual program. Every 6 weeks I am sent to a new
location ( Fairview above) as part of their wellness program. I am
enjoying all the new people I am meeting.
This fall, I am excited to be invited
to be part of the team of Strategic Capitol Advisors/ Medical Mutual, as
they launch their wellness program to area school employees. I
will be teaching at Olmsted Falls, Rocky River, Avon, Amherst, and
Fairview Park on a rotating basis. This program is only open to
employees of these schools, and it is such an excellent concept of which
I am proud to be a part of! I look forward to a long working
relationship with this group.
