DANCES THIS WEEK:
This week I will be
teaching two new dances choreographed by Ohio's own Frank Trace!
All of his dances have been very well received nationwide! We have
" JENNY LEE"
a true beginner dance, and
"BRAZIL" a higher level
beginner dance that will not only go well to the sassy Brazil music, but
will also work to various cha cha's. Frank will be previewing
these dances later this month at a workshop in Chicago. I want to
thank Frank for being so kind as to send me the music for Jenny
Lee........I look for many great dances to come from him in the future,
he really has a knack for this!
NEWS & UPCOMING EVENTS
Mark your calendars, I know we don't
like to think about it, but Christmas is coming! I have already
reserved N. Olmsted cabin for our annual Christmas party, Friday Dec
19'th. Hope to see you all there, as we count down our
favorite dances of 2008.
Coming up soon: Oct 18'th,
Cleveland Country Cares. I have advance discount tickets for
$10.that are going fast. Hope to see everyone out for this all day
event! All of the top bands under one roof, dance till you drop!
Then how about topping off your evening by heading out to Mustangs!
What a great day this will be for dancing!
Here's an update on my new puppy. I
have had him 1 month, and he has jumped from 22 pounds, to 34 pounds!
Looks like I won't be carrying him around much longer. As you can
see in the picture below, you can almost read Gorilla's mind saying " I
wish he would go away"!
And don't forget to come see me every
Sat. night at Mustang Salliz' Ohio's largest country bar, featuring live
music by Caliber. Lesson starts at 8 in the summer. I teach
a beginner and intermediate dance each week, plus reviews.
This fall, I am excited to be invited
to be part of the team of Strategic Capitol Advisors/ Medical Mutual, as
they launch their wellness program to area school employees. I
will be teaching at Olmsted Falls, Rocky River, Avon, Amherst, and
Fairview Park on a rotating basis. This program is only open to
employees of these schools, and it is such an excellent concept of which
I am proud to be a part of! I look forward to a long working
relationship with this group.
